Buildwas Park Estate

The Buildwas Park Estate is located in the spectacular Shropshire scenery between Ironbridge and Much Wenlock: benefiting from the dramatic escarpment of Wenlock Edge on one side, the meandering River Severn in the valley bottom and the legendary hill the Wrekin in the far distance.

Neighbouring the historic Buildwas Abbey, the estate was originally owned by the Moseley family and then the Carder family in the last century before being bought by Richard Perkins in the 90’s.

The Pheasant shoot covers 1,200 acres with mature woodlands strategically planted over 50 years ago specifically for Pheasant shooting and some game crops have been added in more recent times. The landscape affords challenging Pheasants especially with the renowned ‘Traps’ drive on Wenlock Edge and there is magnificent snap shooting in the mature woodlands.
